Early intervention ABA services helping young children learn, grow, and thrive
About Me
Aloha, my name is Amy. I have been working in the ABA field for 12 years. I've worked with children in home, community, clinic, and school settings. I currently offer in home ABA sessions. My approach focuses on early intervention and uses Naturalistic Teaching strategies that help children learn through everyday activities, play, and meaningful interactions.
Rather than relying on rigid or highly structured sessions, I incorporate teaching opportunities into the child’s natural environment during playtime, daily routines, and moments of curiosity. This approach helps children build communication, social, and independence skills in ways that feel engaging, functional, and relevant to their everyday lives.
Working in a home setting allows me to collaborate closely with families and support learning where it matters most. Parents and caregivers are an important part of the process, and I strive to create a supportive partnership where strategies feel practical and easy to use throughout the day.
My goal is to help children grow in confidence, strengthen their ability to connect with others, and develop skills that support long-term success while honoring each child’s unique personality, interests, and pace of learning.
Outside of being a BCBA, I am a wife and a mother of two elementary-aged boys. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, beachcombing, and crafting at home. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Mahalo!
